Take the National Young Farmers Survey. Thank you to the 1,500+ farmers who have already taken our National Young Farmer Survey! We’re excited about our early results, but we still need 3,500 more participants in order to meet our goal. This survey is a crucial advocacy tool: show up, take the survey, and tell Congress that #FarmersCount!

Cilck here to take the survey. Your participation will help us understand and elevate the issues that matter most to young farmers. It is crucial that the survey results represent all young and aspiring farmers, no matter where they live or what they grow. Survey takers who provide their mailing address will receive a bundle of coupons from our partners, including Chipotle, Canidae, and Kashi.

Farming provides a public service.  Just as we’ve provided incentives for Americans to enter medicine, education,  and other public service careers, we need to encourage young people to choose careers in agriculture. Farmers, like nurses, teachers, government employees and non-profit workers, should qualify for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

The National Young Farmers Coalition has a bill in the House, the Young Farmer Success Act, that would add farmers to the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program. Click here to take action and tell your member of Congress to support the bill. And if you live in NY's 19th District, you can say thank you to your Congressman, Chris Gibson (R-19), for introducing the bill!
